![]() Two years after Password Plus left the air, NBC revived the game again but giving the show a new look and a new name. Super Password was played exactly like Password Plus. There were two contestants paired up with two celebrity players. The celebrity or the contestant tried to communicate a "password" by using one word clues. When the password was sovled, the word would go up on the password puzzle board. That password would be a clue that would describe a person, place, thing, or event. A person who solves the puzzle in the first game won $100. The second game was worth $200. The third game was worth $300 and so forth. The first person to reach $500 was the winner of the game and went on to play the End Game for a chance to win $5,000. A new feature was added to this version of Password, Cashword. The winner of the $200 puzzle played Cashword. The celebrity partner had three chances to communicate the password. If the contestant said the correct password, they won $1,000, not affecting the score of the game. $1,000 was added to the jackpot each day Cashword was not won. Super Password ran on NBC daytime from 1984-1989.
